Motorola, are known for their high quality electronic products, and their venture into the baby market has come up with something quite special, confirmed by customers who have given mostly positive comments and a high rating.
What makes the Motorola MBP36 video monitor special is that it has frequency hopping and data encryption technology. Frequency hopping transmissions are highly resistant to interference from other wireless products that you may have in and around your home and offer a high level of security. As the signal is difficult to intercept, you can rest easy that no-one will be able to pick up pictures of your baby or listen in to conversations. Other great features include being able to play lullabies and see the temperature in the room as well as being able to take digital pictures which is a bonus. Unlike some other models that offer lullabies and temperature monitors, reviewers have commented that the lullabies actually sound good and the temperature monitor is correct.
There is very little in the way of negative comments with the Motorola MBP36 video baby monitor, even the price. The only fly in the ointment is the difficulty in obtaining additional cameras. The monitor can support up to 4 cameras, but at the time of writing this article they do not appear to be available.
